End of May update!

     We can't believe how quickly this year is flying by! We are almost done with May and that means we will be half-way through with 2010 soon! The weather has been pretty warm already since March, but it has gotten even more warm lately! The pools are open for the season and we got our Fort Bragg pool pass today, so we are ready to go to any on-post pool now! We also got a kiddie blow up pool for the boys! Well, mainly for Levi, because we have a sprinkler and Bruce loves playing in that, but Levi didn't care for it!

     We had our friends over yesterday for pizza and pool playing for the kiddos and they had such a fun time! Then the adults played bored games while the kids played with toys! It was fun! We found that Levi loves oreo truffles (we have a picture to prove it, lol). We are having a 4 day this weekend and enjoying just hanging out at the house together and on-post! We plan to visit Raleigh soon and eating at The Cheesecake Factory!

     Bruce is almost ready to be screened for kindergarten! He has his kindergarten physical on Wednesday, and that is the last step until we are ready to go to the school and sign him up! He is getting very excited, ever since we showed him the school he will go to last weekend, he can't stop talking about it! He started to do addition a few days ago, and not with his fingers and toes, but in his head! We are so proud of him and can't believe how fast he is growing.

     Levi is getting so big also. He says quite a few words that we can understand, and a few that we still can't make out! He climbs up things now. He isn't too afraid to make it all of the way up the bunk bed stairs now, we are in trouble! He runs and is getting pretty fast. He also has this new thing where he grabs one of our wallets and goes to the door, then we ask, "do you want to go shopping?" and he shakes his head yes!

     All in all we are doing pretty great! We are enjoying this next season in North Carolina and can't wait for what the next few months has coming up! Pictures will be coming soon!

Yesterday was our 2nd Wedding Anniversary!

Yesterday marked 2 years married for us. These past 2 years have been so wonderful for us. We have had a lot of changes and a lot of good things happen to/for us. We celebrated on Saturday because Matt was in the jumpmaster course and couldn't get Monday off. We went to Red Lobster and enjoyed a quiet and nice dinner without our kiddos, thanks to our new friends. It was yummy and really nice to not have to feed someone else once, haha.

Matt is a little impatient when it comes to gift giving, so I got all of my gifts from him super early... He got his gifts last week too, since I didn't want him to have to wait when I already had mine. Cotton being the second anniversary tradition gift, that is what we tried to do.

It really has been an amazing time. I wouldn't change anything about it! We are very blessed in our lives and very happy.

Mother's day last weekend, Our anniversary next week!

Mother's day was really nice! We got a new couch that reclines on both ends and I considered that my mother's day gift. So, on Sunday we went to pick out new couch pillows for it. We just relaxed and chilled at home since it was only 70 degrees and the previous week it was in the mid 90's! All in all, a great day. Then Matt had a test yesterday so I helped him study all weekend, and he passed! Next week we will be celebrating our second wedding anniversary! 2 years married already?! We are going to go out for an early dinner/late lunch on saturday to celebrate without the boys! These past 2 years have been so incredible and I am looking forward to the next 70 or so years!
