I haven't been updating lately because I don't like to air by business all over the internet for anybody to read. Life is good, but when a curveball is thrown you aren't always ready. 5 weeks ago we had a curveball, nothing too horrible, but bad enough at the time...
Now that I got that out of the way, we have been very busy! We have had 2 birthdays and Valentines day pass. It is hard to believe that our boys are now 5 and 1! Bruce has gotten some more responsibility since his birthday, such as making his bed, helping me with the trash and cleaning his room everynight before bed. He is getting rewarded with fun things to do instead of money for now. Levi has gotten to be more vocal at last. He will say "Hi Dad" when he talks to him on the phone, then clap for himself!
We have had some more playdates happen and some more get-togethers with other Fort Bragg wives and children. It has been good getting to make new friends and hopefully some can be longlasting friendships!
We had our first guests (parents) come to visit the last weekend in January and we had a pretty great time. We did get a little bit of a snow dusting, and an inch of ice that weekend, but we managed to be okay! Bruce and Levi loved to have Poppi and Lolli visit and were sad to see them leave. Bruce asks everyday when they are coming back, can't blame a boy for trying!
My friend Jessica and her husband also moved here the last weekend in January and we finally got to meet in person. I have also been driving around both Fort Bragg and Fayetteville and learning my way around! Both towns are so big, nothing like what I am used to, but I am getting the hang of it.
We had our first only snow, snow fall last weekend. It was absoluetly beautiful! No wind, no ice, just pure slow falling snow. We had about 3 inches or so and it melted by the afternoon time. It was a good thing we played in it before it melted though!
I will probably be adding videos and pictures soon, but that is all of the update I have for now! God bless you all and have great weeks!
