October comes to an end...

I can't believe that today is the last day of October. I hope that these last 2 months of 2010 go by a little slower since next year will be fast and busy.

This past week, Bruce was suddenly sick in the middle of the night, so we spent over 6 hours in the hospital with him on Wednesday evening. They thought he had apendicitis, and it probably was a flare up, so we hope it doesn't happen again. He was very sad and disappointed that we made him stay home from school Thursday, but we had to make sure that his stomach pain wasn't getting worse, and he didn't get to bed until almost midnight!

The same night, when we got home at 11:00 pm we noticed that we had a flood in our masterbath/master bedroom and our hallway bathroom. It ended up being  a sewer line problem and a clog. They had to come in and dig up our sewer line and dry up our floors in the house. All seems to be fixed now! God is so good!

Levi has started to say some more words, although the new words are very random! His random words that he says; Yoda, trick, peeas please (I think he is trying to say pretty please) and wiggle.

We had trick-or-treating here last night and the boys' had a blast. We went to our friends house and the kids' went with the dads and my friends mom and I stayed with my friend and passed out candy (she is 9 months pregnant) so we could have our energy for the Halloween carnival. When they got back, Levi decided to trick-or-treat us about 6 times and was mad that other kids were taking the candy (silly boy)! We then headed to the Halloween carnival at the youth center and the kids played games and showed off their costumes. All in all, we all had a great time!

God is great and we hope that he blesses each and everyone of you. Happy Halloween (and Happy Birthday to our nephew).

Pumpkins and silly boys!

These pictures were taken last week at the football game that Matt played in and last weekend at home! There are a lot of silly pictures, so enjoy!

Levi, Dad and Bruce relaxing together!

No nap for Levi means that he falls asleep while eatig... Again!

Deuces! (Peace Out)

Watching dad play football.

He really loved this sucker.

Bruce enjoyed his also.

A sucker and some football cheering leaves a Levi a very sticky mess!

Bending over backwards being silly!

Bruce said that he when he wears his hood over his hat he looks just like a DJ scratching songs! lol

He has the funniest looks!

Matt practicing for the football game.

"Go Dad"

The boys love to hug each other!

He stole Bruce's hat.

He put Bruce's backpack on, said goodbye and started to open the door!

I think he was dancing here, hmmm.

Pumpkin carving time.

Levi wasn't sure what dad was up to.

Bruce knew though!

He made me clean out the pumpkin!

Levi didn't like the insides!

He wanted nothing to do with the real pumpkins.

Bruce thought it was "cool".

Notice his "shy" face.

He liked helping dad!

And Levi liked playing with the fake pumpkin!

He kept putting the fake pumpkin over the fake candle.

Tracing the pattern!

Levi is smelling the candle! (Too bad it has no smell!) :)

That is his sniff face!

Bruce and Dad carving!

Levi decided to eat his foot! He is flexible!

Tired face!

He was beig a goofball!

More silliness!

Bruce and his finished pumpkin...

Levi covered his face, what a stubborn little boy!

I asked him where his eyes are, so he always closes them to show me!

I got to carve the big pumpkin, Levi didn't want to help.

3 Ghosts

Franken boy

A smile!

More smiles!

Kindergarten is tough!

When I was in kindergarten, a very long time ago, we had a half day. Bruce now goes for the full day, and they have no resting period! He falls asleep on the bus ride home (which is only 15 minutes) just about every day. He still needs some rest or naptime, but at school they do 7 or 8 stations, recess, lunch, a special class (music, art, spanish, library) carpet time and reading time. Then when he gets home he has a half hour of homework on average and the 15 to 20 minutes of reading time and self reading time, plus the teacher will ask us for extra practice time on top of homework sometimes! Since he gets home from school at 3:15 and goes to bed at 7:00, he pretty much does work, cleans up, eats dinner and goes to bed!

I am really glad that he likes school though. He is enjoying being around kids his age all day long. He gets a lot of green tickets and enjoys learnig spanish! Matt and I are very proud of him!

Levi is a prodigy....

The other morning he got one of daddys golf clubs and some golf balls when we left him in the living room alone for a minute. We came in and saw him hitting the ball with the club! We did manage to get a video after he was doing it for a little while.

Early Halloween...

We had to order Levi's costume, but we got Bruce's from the store last week. Levi is Yoda (minus his cane and light saber in the picture) and Bruce is Darth Vadar... More and better pictures will come after Halloween is over, but I couldn't resist sharing the cuteness of the boys' in their costumes early!
